few ridiculous movie clichés...

This is Wikipedia’s definition of a cliché: A cliché is a phrase, expression, or idea that has been overused to the point of losing its intended force or novelty, especially when at some time it was considered distinctively forceful or novel...

With Hollywood turning out so many movies ever year, it is no surprise that they are often full of clichés.This is a list of the ten we see most often in movies.i find it quite funny...

1. Villains are bad at shooting...

How many times can action heroes dodge dozens of bullets and never get hit? They have obviously never heard of target practice...villains neva hit heroes at first sight...even if they hit them its always in the end of the movie n that too in arm, shoulder or leg...

u can see it in every action film ever made!!!

2. Everyone’s a hacker...

It seems to me that these days all you need to crack into government files is a laptop and a local library or some cyber cafe... fact that a lot of government data is still on paper and is not electronic is completely crap for them... n yeah it will take just a few seconds less than you need to save the day

you can see it in mission impossible, die hard n al movies in wich there is somehing to do wid govt...

3. Third person shoots...

The bad guy just about to kill the good guy when a shot rings out… But the hero doesn’t fall (though the look on his face is lyk hw i survived)... Suddenly the camera focuses to reveal a saviour – the third person shooter – who just shot the bad guy!

you can see it in die hard, Reservoir Dogs

4. Still not dead...

How many times have i seen this in a film??? The good guy kills the bad guy (or he dies by some other means) and the good guy lets out a sigh of relief (n often turns his back on the killer n obviously towards his lady love)...Suddenly the killer jumps up n the action starts again. again hero kills that bad guy...n movie ends...

watch it inmission impossible 2, Live Free or Die Hard, The Matrix, The Terminator

5.ohh I still love my ex-wife...

There is nothing like having your ex-wife kidnapped to help you realise just how much you love her and vice versa...n its abt the kidnappin its abt almost evry bad thing...n after such thing happens the hero is in flashbak n realises that it was his mistake... problems that caused the break-up in the first place are no longer a problem. Maybe we should all try it?

6.car won’t start wen its needed most

Cars are normally machines except in movies!!! i am almost assured of car breakdown once the action starts... always this has particularly bad consequences for the good guys ...

watch it in 28 Weeks Later, texas chainsaw massacre, House of Wax

7. sarcastic clapping

The actor/actress performs some sort of act, witnessed by the villain.enter the sarcastic hand-clap. makes the hero, the audience want to slap the guy silly...Clichéd but it works...

See The Dark Knight...

8.talk before shooting

(scene from the good the bad and the ugly...ty imdb)
[Tuco is in a bubble bath. The One Armed Man enters the room]

random guy: I've been looking for you for 8 months. Whenever I should have had a gun in my right hand, I thought of you. Now I find you in exactly the position that suits me. I had lots of time to learn to shoot with my left.
[Tuco kills him with the gun he has hidden in the foam]

tuco : When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

good guy bad guy standin wid bad guy havin a gun pointed at good guy... The ego of the bad guy takes over, and he describes exactly what he’s going to do to the good guy…instead of actually getting on with it. provides extra time for the hero/heroine to save themselves/get saved... Idiot.

Well, just seeit in about every James Bond movie.

9.hideous sidekicks

ohhh yes
. always always the male sidekicks are usually funnier than the lead whereas the female friends are usually hideous.dnt knw y it happens...usually romantic comedies hav such combo....

watch it in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, The Wedding Planner, Hitch.

10.phone stare

Why? Why do people stare at the phone after receiving bad news?..?
What do they expect to see??
do u want to see a pop window out of that phone saying "gotcha"

Phone Booth

11.when i was little speech

The more cynical sarcastic movie fan will feeels weird wen “When I was a Little Girl” speech or hero telling "when i was a kid" feels lyk yuck!!!... This is screenwriter’s way to make us feel sympathy for a character regardless of their personality flaws etc. n mostly aftr that u see some kinda sex scene or increase in their love for each other....
y always...

12.the shock awakening

This has to be one of the most used clichés ... the hero/heroine is trapped in a dream, they’re just about to be killed/see their loved one die when they bolt upright, breathing heavily, distressed n sweating.... Occasionally, the director will spice up the cliché by putting the camera right in the actors face....

13.Sliding Doors

ahhhhhhhhhhhh...favourite one....

every action hero, at some point in the movie, will need to dive under or through sliding doors. This is especially true when you are in some sci fi film or action film...always everybody except the hero gets out easily n hero is seen jz gettin through before the door is closed...in between u ll see all characters on the other side of door worried...

Terminator 3
